Album Notes

April 29th was a fun day for me. It was my 56th birthday and I had a gig at The Good Beans Cafe in Flint, Michigan. Friends, family and others gathered to hear me play my original songs with my new band which I dubbed,"The DDaM Band". I coined that name for the band because of the musicians names. Douglas Curnutte played the fiddle, Dennis Diehl was on bass guitar and Micheal Blaszekowski played percussion. This was our first time playing in public and the DDaM band only had one full practice to learn 20 songs. Ken, the owner of The Good Beans Cafe, recorded our live performance and I took the audio files and did what I could to mix them down into this CD. I wasn't planning to make a CD of this performance, but after mixing it all down I thought there was enough musical merit in our effort to make a CD that was a honest keepsake of that day in our lives. For better or worse here it is...flaws and all...hope you enjoy it! Larry Pless
