A Must-Own
author: Robin Reda

Larry Robinson’s voice is one of the finest examples of a singer/songwriter bringing the listener close to the artist. Both his voice and lyrics are so melded from the same personality that I can’t help but compare these qualities to musicians like Arlo Guthrie or Bob Dylan. Larry is vivid and colorful as he sings of country life in California. – But, no doubt, most of us folks in America can relate. Folk-like imagery with intriguing lines and rhyme. A marvelous integrity of verisimilitude and ear.

This cd led me so well in word pictures that a couple of times the images come before the new words. Lovely!

Sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy

Put the CD on the stereo, grab a glass of wine (or bourbon or whatever) light up a good gigar, put your feet up, close your eyes and relax to some of the best tunes heard in a long time. I cannot listen to this while driving. (there are other L.R. CD's for that) This CD is for the lazy nights by the fireplace cuddled next to momma. Great songs sung by a great voice in a very simple acoustic setting that is a joy to listen to.
