Album Notes

Larry Stevens, an accomplished NJ-NY singer-songwriter, has spent the last decade in the NY metro area and in Nashville, TN, performing and writing with some of the world’s best songwriters and musicians. Most recently, Stevens had the honor of sharing the stage with Kenny Loggins, Todd Rundgren, and Foreigner at the Bergen Performing Arts Center and is slated to open for Heuy Lewis and the News. Others, may recognize Larry from his upbeat and energetic performances opening for Peter Frampton and the Doobie Brothers or at one of his many rockin’ shows at the world famous Bluebird Café in Nashville, TN or at the Iridium Jazz Club in NYC. In addition to these credits, Stevens has had the pleasure of performing for our wounded warriors at Walter Reed Medical Center and at the Friar’s Club in NYC, as one of its inductees. Currently, Stevens is touring the Northeast performing cover songs
( Van Morrison, Jack Johnson, Beatles, John Mayer) and original material off his two CDS, Heart of a Fighter and Downstairs at Mayo’s, as well as songs off his newest CD, Mercer Street. Fans may have heard some of his original songs or Larry’s interview/playing live on 89.1FM and WOR 710 AM on the Joey Reynolds show. In other media news, Stevens and his CD were mentioned in Cindy Adams’ NY Post column last year.
