Pure and refreshing vocals, thought provoking lyrics, and a message; Be Reconciled! Are the foundations of LaShaun’s debut CD project, “I AM SAFE”.

An independent contemporary Christian artist capable of taking the body of Christ on a journey into wholeness, with an opportunity to Restore, Renew and Celebrate being in a Right Relationship with God. “I AM SAFE” is not just music to the listener’s ear, but ministry to the heart and soul. It speaks of humanity’s greatest need, “Restoration”, being made whole again and feeling loved, protected and safe.

While it is common for music to be placed within a descriptive genre, God’s assignment for LaShaun has strategically placed her in a position to transcend cultural, generational, and denominational boundaries allowing her to appeal to the masses in a real and relevant way. With gifted ability LaShaun extends her vocals to infuse different styles of music. She effectively communicates His Word through song; which reconciles His people to him while representing His transforming love without compromise.

“I AM SAFE” Features 12 thought-provoking tracks, placed in 3 categories which are based on “Broken Relationship”, “Restored Relationship”, and “Right Relationship” between Humanity and God”. “I AM SAFE” takes listeners on a musical journey into wholeness that will appeal to the churched as well as the un-churched. With 6 out of 12 songs written, co-written or arranged by LaShaun and produced by Craig Swift, this CD offers something for everyone. From the old-school R&B flavored track, “I know”, the hip urban sound of “New Life”, the sacred intimate ballad “I AM SAFE”, the hard hitting vocal declaration of “Saved 2 Serve”, to the smooth Spanish flavor of “More Like You”, one can find it all on this project.

Here is a CD project that goes beyond extraordinary musicality and reveals one central message….Be Reconciled! Everyone is in a relationship with God, whether they admit it or not. And it’s up to the listener, to answer the question “Where am I within my relationship with God?” The listener has a choice to Restore, Renew and Celebrate a Right Relationship with a loving and forgiving God, which guarantees divine protection and safety.

LaShaun’s heartfelt desirer is for people to know foremost through her music, that no matter where they are… God is faithfully, lovingly, pursuing them back into His loving arms of protection.
