Album Notes

La Snacks is a five piece band from Austin Texas that started in late 2004. They have been compared to such indie luminaries as Archers of Loaf, The Hold Steady and Pavement. Their new self-released EP and second recording is called Newfangled and was recorded at Premium Studios in Austin Texas with Andrew Hernandez (The Sword, Zookeeper).

They also curate the annual Beaumont, Texas Festival Connect The Dots, bringing Austin and Beaumont bands together. In 2008, such SXSW luminaries as Ringo Deathstarr, Pataphysics and Daniel Francis Doyle all played the fest. They have toured, been written about and charted on college radio all across the country.
