Last Train Out is Outlaw Rock ~N~ Blues
I opened the mail last week, only to find the much anticipated album, "Last Train Out!" It absolutely blew me away, and made my day, month, and year! I say album, because it takes me back to the days of vinyl, when you heard a CLASSIC for the first time. The album gives you chills, and makes your heart race, which are both so palpable , and will make your spirit come alive! There are not enough adjectives to describe how amazing the songs are on this album. I have played it four times through my M-AUDIOS, and that was on the first day! There is such a deep level of Classic Rock and Blues, that is ingrained into this album. The band has a certain synergy, that takes you back to a different time, when bands like Bad Company, Deep Purple, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and ZZ Top ruled, and were making history. Lou Kaplan's voice, is so very unique, with this earthy, growling, rock and blues vibe, while playing a pounding bass style, that are reminiscent and comparable to Glenn Hughes, with a bit of Paul Rodgers flavor, thrown into the mix. Bob Bachta is amazing on guitar, with his classic Rock & Blues infusion. Al Macomber, on drums, has such a tasty groove going on, and hits it in the pocket, with chops that are so very classic! One listen, and you will be hooked! Last Train Out has managed to be one of the most electric, energetic, and spiritual bands, (as well as albums,) around today! Listening to the album, makes you feel as though you are watching them play live, with the amazing connection they have with their audience! You know that a lot of love, heart, and soul was put into the mix of this entire album. Even the sound of the train, is so very haunting. Might I add, the Co-producers, Grammy Award winning engineer, Robert Hunter, and Ex-Blue Cheer Guitarist, Andrew "Duck" MacDonald, did a brilliant job! I strongly suggest everyone buy this incredible album immediately!
