The album "Bahia Nights" is dedicated to "La Bahia de Banderas",the bay of Puerto Vallarta/Mexico and to all it´s sailors and surfers and seagulls...

Latcho and Andrea moved to Mexico approximately 11 years ago. Before they met, Latcho and his friend, Lobo (of Willie and Lobo) played music together in Europe and in Mexico. After Lobo moved to Mexico he sent numerous postcards back to Latcho extolling the virtues of life in Mexico. Latcho and Andrea had, by this time, met and fallen in love and they visited Lobo for several years. Finally, they too moved to Mexico. For the first four years they played their music primarily in Puerto Vallarta. Then they started playing in La Cruz at Papasito’s (now the Black Forest Restaurant) and in Bucerias at Karen’s Place. These were the only two restaurants in the area offering live music.
Latcho & Andrea were often billed as Gitans Blondes(Blond Gypsies), the name being taken from a brand of French cigarettes, and used as the title of one of their CDs.
They play and sing a gypsy-flamenco style of music with Latcho on guitar and Andrea accompanying him with guitar and castanets. Some of the gypsy influence in their music comes from time that Latcho spent in the south of France, in the proximity of Manitas de Plata and the Gipsy Kings. Latcho & Andrea spent a lot of time living and traveling in caravans with the gypsies, absorbing their music around the campfires.
They are currently performing in the north bay area of Puerto Vallarta and during July in California.
