ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Music is what it's about. It’s my world and for some reason it always has been. It’s been the one thing in my life that could make me forget every bad thing, or every good thing... my one consistent motivator. Music moves me. I’m into hooks... the kind of song that will either stay with you for the whole day, or make your soul stir when you hear it.

There have been a lot of exciting changes recently, so keep checking back to see what I’ve been up to. You’ll hear the new sound soon. Thanks for supporting me thus far!

I’m random. My room is eggplant purple and is amazing. I’ll go to a hole-in-the-wall bar over a night club any day... School makes me want to vomit. I can fall asleep anywhere. I don’t believe there is an “american dream”. Every year I try to add a new word to my vocabulary, this year its “jive”. I have a purse, but its broken and decorated with backstage passes. I carry around spoons and other random nonsensical things. My brother and sister are my best friends. I hate talking on the phone... I don’t know why.

I love being around people. The things I find on you tube make me laugh so hard I want to pee myself. I’m pretty sure that ghosts are real. I’m scared of zombies. I recently discovered sushi and I love it! Sentence-by-sentence bios are lame. lol. Words I over use: lame, awesome, wow, and hopefully “jive”.

Excellent debut
Laura Black Daybreak's debut album is very impressive. I came across this new artist on myspace and liked the sound of the tracks on their profile page. I'm glad I decided to buy the cd, as the quality of the music is excellent and I'm sure this band have a great future ahead of them. The songs are in a modern rock style, which reminds me in some places of Kelly Clarkson or even Evanescence. Laura Black has a fantastic voice. The lyrics are emotionally driven and meaningful. I would recommend this cd to anyone who is a fan of modern rock music. I have been playing this album in my car stereo for the past few weeks, and the more I listen to it the more I love it!

A MUST HAVE CD...EXCELLENT BUY!
From Dawn to Dust is absolutely amazing. This album depicts the emotions of confusion and at the same time discovery. It's very innovative & showcases the love and passion of music this band has as they merge. Laura Black has natural raw talent and impressive powerful vocals that will rock your socks off! I give this CD 2 rocker shockers up & highly recommend it to anyone!!!
