Hang and Guitar duets: two musical pictures cross-fading
and dancing with each other, sometimes merging into
one, at other times maintaining their distinct identity.

Our intent is to create and share musical
dialogues, to improvise material with
no pre-conceived ideas of structure.
Through listening space is opened
for spontaneity and inspiration
to arise and take form.

As players, composers and
listeners, we find this process
requires of us an unusual degree
of both risk-taking and patience.

We risk when we introduce a new musical
element into that which already exists.

Then patience enables us to accept these
shifts in direction, allowing time to digest the
new sonic environment.

We describe this alternation of risk and patience
as 'music about listening'.

We have left the music exactly as it was performed,
without overdubs. As it came into being,
we share it with you.
