A Superbly Crafted and Musical CD
author: Kevin Ball & the Busters
Southbound captures Laura Ranieri totally in her elements. While comparisons fly, just listen to who she really is. With a country groove, rock feel, folk smarts, she takes you places musically and with finely crafted songs, this CD rocks ya'll. Southbound the title track, puts you in her feel as she talks about the lure and seduction of the south. Its funky and spunky. Those who have not been to the south will be there with her. I'm Over You is a well crafted and poignant song about how someone is truly over someone and done beautifully. Sitting in the Sunshine is a dreamy and flowing song that is bright and fun. A good song for the beach, the car, and feeling good alone, or with the one you love. A most memorable melody. Love Life Again is an uplifting and promising tune that inspires one to rise again and believe in it. Believe In Me lets you know just what this girl wants and needs. Funky and groovy....she says it like it is. If you purchase this CD you will not be disappointed and you will travel the roads that Laura travels upon and understand why she is a breakthrough artist who has worked hard to make it fly....and fly it does.....with ease. Buy it today and enjoy!
