Lauren Echo is a passionate and soulful singer, songwriter with a smoky voice that sounds like no other and is sure to invite you in to listen. In her songs there is a recurring theme of freedom and triumph as she exposes her vulnerability with spirit, dignity and emotion. Whether she is playing piano or guitar, her intense sound will inspire and move you.

This is wise music, steeped in pain and honed by hardwon hope. Not a bad song in the bunch, more than one will lift you up from the dark night of the soul and into the light of dear love's dawn. Take it from one fortunate enough to have witnessed Ms. Echo weaving her web over an unsuspecting roomfull of barflies. The naked honesty you hear in her voice is evident in her eyes and the winsome way she holds the piano as if it were the only liferaft left to take us to safer shores. This collection of heartbroken hymns stands as a testament to the impossibility and inevitability of love. More sweet than bitter, bitter than sweet, Still will bless your heart.
