Laurie Story Vela is a family folk artist with vast experience as a children's performer and in audience or group participation singing and storytelling. She grew up as a local performer singing with the "Vela Family Singers" which were formed after Laurie's mom saw the Sound Of Music one too many times! She has been a touring folk artist with "Laurie's Stories" and as a (New Thought)Singer-Songwriter for more than 15 years.

Laurie says, "One of the best ways to know our Oneness with each other and the planet is to come together in a circle and to sing.
