Home Town:
Born in Dallas, TX August 13th, 1978, to Father (Pastor Lawrence Morrison) and Mother (Pearlie Morrison), Lawrence Morrison, "Law" was raised with a set of strong values and even stronger determination.
Background:
As early as junior high school, Law began entering local talent shows. He did not win every time, but he was successful in securing the heart and training of the South Oak Cliff high school choir director. She took Law under her wing and helped ready him for his future. Law took this knowledge with him upon graduating high school and eventually succeeded in building a loyal following in the Dallas and surrounding Texas areas.
Law, the sixth in a family of 12 children, grew up singing in his father's church. At the age of six, Law was asked by the choir director to lead a song, and he never looked back.
Law says, "music has always been my number one love and I have always dreamed of someday performing in front of huge crowds. It is just where I always felt I would end up."
To put it simply, Law does not just perform his music, he lives it each and every day and with that type of honesty and commitment there is no way to derail his well deserved success.
Law has recorded two underground CDs to date, which have brought him 3000+ in CD sales and garnered much critical acclaim among the Urban community. Word of his talents eventually reached the major labels and both Def Jam records and Warner Bros Records approached Law. When asked why he did not pursue the deals in front of him at the time, he simply answers, "I was not ready. They wanted to change everything about me and at that age I would have lost who I truly was and what I was truly about." Law eventually signed to Knockout Records and is preparing to release his third CD "Creepin". Now a seasoned performer at 26, Law feels that he is a true veteran and that his music and himself are ready for whatever this business can throw at them.
"Creepin" will be Law's first commercial release for Knockout Records. Both the label and Law feel that this is his best work to date. With tracks that keep both your ears and mind consumed from beginning to end, this CD is guaranteed to solidify Law's place not only in the Dallas, TX urban community, but nationwide as well. From the infectious groove of "All You Sexy Mamas" to the slow and sultry, "Heels Off"; "Creepin" is destined to find its place among the Billboard top 100.

The CD is smooooth. Very nice, strong voice. I'd like to hear LAW do something with a faster rhythm. I'm sure he would be awesome at that as well.
