Armenian Music Center presents Lazar Saryan's CD "Chamber Instrumental Comp". The composer Gazaros Saryan was one of the most distinguished figures of Armenian musical culture of the second part of the XX century. He was honored with the title of a People's Artist of the Soviet Union and Armenia.
Saryan's chamber music includes compositions for different instruments such as "Aria and Toccata" (1966) for violin and piano, string quartet (1986), Sonata for violoncello and piano (1989), three Postludes for piano (1990),"Andante and Presto" for violin and chamber orchestra (1997).
