Lazee Lamont
“The Joke Dealer”


You might recognize Lamont King ['Lazee' Lamont] as a rising Super-Talent and self-proclaimed THINKERTAINER in the stand-up comedy, radio and television worlds. He has been a working comedian/writer for over 10 years, and a morning radio personality for nearly as long.

Most recently you heard Real-Talk with Lamont King which aired on XM Satellite Radio channel 169 The Power. Lamont also has recurring roles on The Tom Joyner Show’s “It’s Your World” radio soap, as a writer and voice actor. He was “killin’ Cali’” as a co-host on The John Salley Block Party with Ananda Lewis on 100.3-FM The Beat in Los Angeles. He made a name for himself with a nation-wide audience as a main cast-member on the nationally-syndicated Russ Parr Morning Show [Radio-One, INC] for six years. You last heard him on the air in DC with WPGC 95.5-FM.

On screen Lamont can now be seen as a series regular on The Big Debate, a pop-culture internet show that airs on the MSN.com homepage. You can also see him featured in a show called Manswers on SpikeTV, and in Russ Parr’s second movie The Business. Catch him on DVD as the host of HotGhettoMess.com - The DVD. He was featured on the final season of BET’s Comic View, and UPN’s ALL OF US season finale.

Lamont is currently living in Inglewood, CA, but travels frequently for gigs. He is heavy on the Hollywood comedy circuit but likes to hit the road. In addition to being hilarious on stage, he is the ultimate host for any type of event (i.e. cabarets, parties, step shows, panel moderator, clubs, etc.)
