Guilty Pleasures the 80's Volume 1

Following up on their widely successful Guilty Pleasures (20 covers from the 70's), Lazlo Bane has shaved their beards and traded in their denim for spandex and hair gel on this wide mix of 80's delights. Volume 2 soon to follow. Enjoy!

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
With the success of Guilty Pleasures (the 70's), and continued requests for more covers, Lazlo Bane decided to tackle the triumph and glory of 1980's. Not their first foray in to the decade of debauchery, a splendid cover of Men at Work's "Overkill" featuring Colin Hay was on their 1997 debut CD, 11 Transistor. The tracks "Take On Me" and "Hold Me Now" have already been featured in ABC's Private Practice (scored by band members, Fischer/Bright). They are still compiling the list for Volume 2 so leave your requests in the comments section below.

Great music again!
For me, Lazlo Bane is a kind of band you listen when you want something simple, beautiful and great at the same time. And they made this kind of music once again, now in the 80's style!
As for the request, I would love to hear "True" by Spandau Ballet on volume 2. Really waiting for the next release!
