Album Notes

Different. A one-off. First performances in ‘70s Vancouver. Subsequent appearances in Toronto, San Diego, Brixton, New Haven, Amsterdam and Köln. Founded Loose Tubes, influential British jazz orchestra of mid to late ‘80s. Involved in careers of key UK players and the business end of recording and touring.

Dropped out of sight during the early ‘90s to incubate personal projects and brought it all back home to BC for the turn of the millennium.

Writes proper songs. New standards. Wry and witty. Tuned and intelligent. Unique and original talent. Sings from lost traditions of the heart. Brings passion, commitment and experience to everything. Autodidactic, uncompromised and exceptional. “fresh and original” & “delightful magic”, says After Hours’ Ross Porter.
