Lynda Barnes Lovett has written party songs "with a major attitude" that are guaranteed to have you and your friends laughing and singing along. Lynda Barnes Lovett is also writing very different music; songs that other musicians have characterized as "new old standards" and as "songs in the tradition of Porter, Gershwin, Berlin, Rogers and Hammerstein." Ms. Lovett's qualifications to write party songs and now her romantic pop classics arise from her training as a classical pianist, who began playing for large audiences at age eight. She was also chosen to perform for Stravinsky and was an accompanist for the Washington D.C. Ballet.
