"Lounge" is the CD version of what it was like in the beginning of Lynn Brownell's career smack dab in the middle of the "Minneapolis Music Scene" in it's prime. It has the piano lounge essence of the 80s.

Lynn Brownell is a Singer/Songwriter/Pianist living and working in NYC. Originally from Minnesota, Lynn began her professional career as a performer in 1980, but her music goes back much farther than that. The Brownell household was filled with music long before she was ever born. Being the last born of 4 children, Lynn was exposed to amazing music even when in the womb. Her Father, Ron Brownell, was an icon in the Twin Cities, best known for his flawless, floating technique on the Wurlitzer Organ, but also played piano, accordian and painted beautifully in oil and watercolor. From 1999 to 2007 Lynn lived and worked in New York City. Lynn Brownell has returned to the Twin Cities and is performing locally and booking around the world.
