Unexpected magic occurred when Lynda Cole and Jan Michael Looking Wolf collaborated together on the CD Spreading Wings. Lynda, an accomplished silver flutist and harpist, and Jan Michael a renowned Native American flutist, combined their styles and talents to create music that is new, and fresh, yet evokes feelings of honoring past musical traditions and spiritual ceremonies. Both come from a path of healing in their own lives, and bring this healing presence into their music.

Gentle, enjoyable, refreshing with diverse sounds. I recommend highly recommend

author: Fredrica BergeronI was ambivalent about buying Spreading Wings, wondering if the guitar, silver flute, harp and drums might overpower the haunting sound of the Native American flute. But I should not have worried. Looking Wolf’s skill with the little pieces of wood didn’t disappoint me. Creator has bestowed a marvelous talent on Looking Wolf. The difficulties he experienced during his illness have been compensated for by Creator with the wonderful gift of the Native American flute, and he has proved himself more than worthy of such a gift. The guitar, silver flute, harp and drums provided a melodious background for his music.
This is a wonderful cd for healing work or massage
author: DeniseI am a massage therapist and I love playing this music for massage, its beautiful and each song is really different from the next so I don't get bored. This type of music with lots of deep notes on the flutes helps me feel really focused and grounded. My clients really seem to relax and get into the music and the massage. I frequently get asked afterwards where I got the cd.
