After years of songwriting and performing, Lucas Carpenter has coined and realized a unique vision of what a singer/songwriter can be: he is the quintessential front man, and the mastermind behind the music. Drawing on influences from James Taylor to Rusted Root and Rufus Wainwright to Paul Simon, his assortment of musical passion produced his first full-length CD in 2000, on which he played all the instruments. He relocated from Williamsport to Pittsburgh, PA, where his second album hit the streets in 2002, this time boasting a full band and a huge sound. The following Spring found Lucas in Boston, enrolled at the Berklee College of Music, where he put together the latest incarnation of his band, and proceeded to turn heads in a whole new corner of the country. His delicate way with words and sweetly soulful melodies make the Lucas Carpenter Band difficult to resist.

I would have 10 babies with everyone in this band, maybe 11 with Lucas. This CD is amazing and close to perfection for anyone who likes music in general. It doesn't matter what you like to listen to, this CD is for anyone. Amazingly talented and wonderfully spirited, It's a must!

Beautiful album and definately one of my favorites though I've had it in possession for less than a day...the trains of Boston bring you places you would never expect, they brought me to him and his music, im thankful. The song were made for being absorbed in daydreams and staring out windows, perfectly done.

I love the CD, I also have the first cd that Lucas released, and I love this one even more. I would encourage anyone to listen to it. My favorite song is 366 Days. All around a great music style, with a powerful message behind each and every song. I have converted all my friends to buying one too!
