Album Notes

"Heartsease" is a collection of classic songs that I chose to do in a traditional country style.

The album features John Hughey (from Vince Gill's band) on steel guitar. John and Mike Shrimpf (keyboard) both played for Conway Twitty's band, as well.

"Heartsease" has been a big hit on the local radio stations in the St. Louis area. If you enjoy, traditional country, timeless sounds, you'll love this album.

I was greatly influenced by Patsy Cline, Linda Ronstadt, Tammy Wynette, and Crystal Gayle while growing up in Missouri. I'm told all the time that I sound like Patsy Cline or Crystal Gayle. I'm very honored by such a compliment. I feel so blessed to have been given such a gift. It has led me to meet some of the greatest musicians in Nashville as well as wonderful opportunities like performing on stage at the Ryman Auditorium, working with Kenny Chesney and Tanya Tucker. I wouldn't trade a single minute! Please be sure to give this album a listen, then pop on over to my other sites for my Gospel album and original country music album. Thanks so much and God bless!

Good CD containing a nice selection of country and pop standards. Even her version of "Blue Bayou" is acceptable, although I still think the song should stay with Orbison. Ny favorite track is the cover of the Connie Smith classic "Ain't Had No Lovin'". I will try more of her music - only negative about Ms. Coil is her website - it definitely needs work
