And when I see it I feel like I'm at home.

The sweetest blue to rival any summer skies.
I know I've seen love's face, when I look at you.
I know love because I know you.
Love holds the power of God's amazing grace
and I feel it everytime that we embrace.
It is the gentleness of your hand when it takes mine
that fills me with courage and the strength to carry on.
I know what love feels like when I've been touched by you.
I know love because I know you.
A song of love can change you for all time.
It needs no melody, no special words or rhyme.
Love is the sound of your voice that says, "hello".
The words that give me hope when I thought that none would grow.
I know I've heard love's song when I've had a talk with you.
I know love because I know you.

I wrote this song as a gift to a good friend for a going away party. He was a very special person who had given of himself in so many ways and touched so many lives. I felt like the best way I could describe him was to compare him to "love".
My belief is that we are given life by our creator--God. I also believe that God is Love. If God is love, and we come from God, then it only makes sense that we come from love also--that we are love.

I like to think that this title track describes all of us in the way we touch one another's lives. I hope we can all be "love" for each other. I'm working on it!

I hope you enjoy this track along with the other nine on this album of original material. Besides "I know Love", I also wrote "It's Just a Kiss", "I'm in Love With a Man that Doesn't Exist" and "She'll Never Be Me".
