ABOUT THIS ALBUM


Album Notes
LEASTWAYS WAS FORMED IN 2001 BY RYAN GROULX AND ALAN GARR IN JOHNSTON COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA. THEY BOTH SING, SONGWRITE, AND PLAY ORIGINAL MUSIC FOR THE PEOPLE. The band added the great percussionist, Keith Matthews to the lineup in 2006 and are currently working on a new CD set for release in fall of 2007. Check them out on myspace....mc

great sound
The voices, especially on some of the songs, sound great to my practiced ear. Alan's voice in particular is so good and so strong and sure, but Ryan's also has potential. Instumentation also fits the mood of the songs. The songs are short dramas and the words need to be listened to. I visulize short movies when I listen; in fact, the songs would make great soundtracks.Keep at it, boys, I think you have something unique.
