Album Notes

CD BABY RECOMMENDS:

"Unquestionably powerful and glacially beautiful." --Splendid E Zine

"Leaving Rouge will win with the indie youth, as well as their Wilco-loving, mid-management parents. It's all around good." --Real Detroit Weekly

"Undeniably good songwriting, probably the most interesting band you will hear this month." --Night Times

"Leaving Rouge succeeds at being several things at once, and their warm, shredded heart anthems are good enough to be bigtimes hits, even if they probably won't be." --All Music Guide

From the Greyday Records website:

Indie, rock, and pop meet on the third record from Detroit's Leaving Rouge. Elsewhere is the most realized Leaving Rouge album to date, offering dramatic indie rock layered with heavy 80s and 90s influenced vocal harmonies. Praised from coast to coast for their textured, atmospheric rock, Leaving Rouge's second album calls to mind all the things you love about indie rock of past and present. Leaving Rouge has managed to nudge themselves somewhere in the corner, brewing their own beautiful music. (Greyday, 2007)

For fans of: Red House Painters, Replacements, Ryan Adams, REM, Pearl Jam, Nada Surf.
