Album Notes

I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I graduated from Glen Oaks High School, and received a B. S. Degree in Therapeutic Recreation form Southern University in Baton Rouge.

During my pre-teen and teenage years, I was lead singer in a family Gospel group that performed and traveled heavily to various gospel venues and festivals. Since then; and for the past ten years, I have been writing and singing Contemporary Folk and Country music. Although I greatly enjoy singing both genres of music, I perform primarily within the Soft Rock genre. As in all my music, I have tried to include the elements of a song that are part of a “Cross Over” hit: catchy lyrics, strong melodies, and an effective hook.

I describe my current style of music as a blend of Soft Rock with a twist of Folk.

My career experience includes playing acoustic guitar, performing as a singer/songwriter and background singer. I currently perform as often as possible for the exposure and in order to keep my voice in top singing condition. I have written, performed and recorded fifteen (15) songs that I own all the legal copyrights.

I realize in order to be successful as an artist; one must have strong desires, uniqueness, creativity, relentlessness, excellent writers, musicians, and producers. I am committed to a career in music, with an ultimate goal of becoming an accomplished songwriter, producer and performer.
