Album Notes

This Oregon band brings together 5 experienced and polished musicians who have a love of the old, first generation Bluegrass music. Their goal and passion is to recapture the feel, style and sound of the first Bluegrass for audiences and listeners. The band recently completed an all Gospel CD (When He Reached Down His Hand For Me) and is playing a full schedule of concert and festival dates around the West. Al Shusterman (Backroads Bluegrass)of KCBL Radio-Sacramento, Calif. wrote " If after hearing both of these great projects, you don't tell someone about them, you have done a disservice to the Bluegrass/Gospel community. While playing them, the hairs on the back of my neck were standing up and the chills were running down my spine. Both of these CD's were much too short and I had to listen to each of them several times to get the full impact. If you love the traditional sound, then look no further. I've received requests for all of the songs and these CD's will be my constant companions for many weeks to come. BOTH OF THESE ARE GREAT!!!! "
