All other Snow Goose Recordings feature wild geese in wild settings. These recordings are not clear and as you turn up the volume are painful to listen to especially when you're hunting all day. Snow Bait and Snow Reaper by Snow Goose Gear are recordings of captive Snow and Ross Geese that have been painstakingly edited to ensure you get the clearest, crispest Snow Goose recordings in 100% digital stereo sound. You can crank these recording as loud as you want and there is no distortion. Snow Reaper and Snow Bait were made by recording over 70 captive Snow and Ross Geese in the Spring of 2007. First of all the geese were all corralled and then the breeding pairs were put in two separate pins about 200 yards from each other. For 2 days the geese were recorded calling back and forth to each other and then a bunch of corn was dumped in the pins and the ensuing fighting and feeding sounds were recorded. Finally the geese in one pin were released and the sounds of the Snow and Ross breeding pairs reuniting was recorded. All the recordings were edited using professional audio editing software and mastered in a professional studio to bring you the absolute highest quality Snow Goose recordings possible. The best part is the results of field testing. Guides and hardcore hunters alike keep telling me how many more adult Snows they're killing when they use Snow Reaper and Snow Bait in addition to an increase in their overall harvest.
