Original singer song-writer Richard Lee has one of those instantly recognisable voices, reminiscent of Daryl Hall with equally catchy and memorable songs which do not fail to put a smile on your face.  All the songs on this beautifully crafted album are meaningful and have a strong presence, which are rare qualities in most albums.  Personally I highly recommend the title track 'Beautiful Car Wreck', which Richard delivers with spine-chilling sincerity and warmth.  I also recommend 'Let It Go', 'Flood' and 'My Town', in fact this is one of those rare albums where every track is listenable and makes you want to hit that repeat button.
In short, for a debut album, Richard Lee has done what many singer song-writers fail to do, and this is to deliver a collection of intimate, catchy and memorable songs, each one lovingly crafted to give the maximum listening pleasure.  Go Buy it now!
