Hello everyone!!
My name is Lee Shanel. I'm a Latin POP artist originally from Puerto Rico, now living in Brentwood, TN. I came to the Nashville area some years back with the full intention of establishing myself as a recording artist. My idea was to go into mainstream country. But life opened a different path for me, which made a whole lot more sense. Being of Hispanic descent, I was re-routed to build my music career based on my Latin heritage, and in the process, I also re-discovered that I have a certain knack for Retro-Jazz and Big Band Era Swing, and it seems to be paying off.

In my pursuits, I've been privileged and fortunate to have met some very wonderful people, from whom I've received very good advice. I have been able so far, to record now four CD albums -- two in my native Spanish, a third one in English in which I have included some of my favorite Big Band Era Standards, and this new Christmas album (also in English) titled “…HOME FOR CHRISTMAS!!” which will be fully released to the public after the first week of November! The CD’s are now being promoted widely online through various outlets such as I-tunes, Amazon.com, Rhapsody and CD BABY. The third CD is also getting airplay through many Jazz radio markets from coast to coast, and will be highlighted from the weeks of October 24th to November 21st on the nationally syndicated radio program “The Bill Miller Show”. Expectations for the weeks to come include “Music Choice”, “SIRIUS” and “XM” satellite radio networks. At this point there is an average of about 676 different markets involved.

This past August 11, I showcased the Big Band CD at the Nashville Limelight, with the accompaniment of the Nashville Jazz Orchestra, and it was very well received. I was privileged to have some very prominent community leaders and music industry people in the audience at that particular event, who suggested that I look into promoting my music to convention planning companies, who are involved in staging and booking entertainment and through online distribution, and as many local and national radio markets as I can reach. So, as a way of outreach to everyone that would listen, I have prepared this project. Please accept it as a token of Good Will for a most wonderful Holiday Season and a Prosperous New Year!
