A teacher gone ROCKIN COWBOY, with a Dylan- Nelson twist
author: IIIAmigos Production
Lee Whitaker is a teacher gone ROCKIN COWBOY with his
soft lyrics, twangy rifts, and just some good ole
wholesome rock. With his dylan story telling and
willie nelson vibe, he goes into his basement in
Haddon Heights, NJ to come out with his debut album,
Songs from the Hour Glass.
**There are 11 songs and each one will speak
differently to you, but here are my highlights.**
track 3,"Doghouse,"
has a rockin bluesy feel to it that shows the light
side of Lee's writing.if this number does not get your
feet moving, don't bother. Your feet are broken.
track 4,"Erin Lynne,"
this sweet ballad is the song Lee wrote for and sang
to his daughter at her wedding. It is all that you
look for in a song, touching with a melody that could
bring tears to your eyes, if you are a father.
track 5,"Hourglass"
the song sums up the drive of Lee Whitaker the
songwriter and allows us, the listener to fall in love
with the hunt for self passion and believe in the
words of George Elliot, "It is never to late to be
what you might have been."
This is written by Roger Fay of IIIAmigos Productions
in association with In Yarde Records.
