Album Notes

Legitimate Business is a four-piece punk rock band from New Jersey. They have shared the stage with significant national and regional acts, including Catch 22, Mustard Plug, Big D and The Kids Table, Riverboat Gamblers, Fake Problems, Against All Authority, The Pietasters, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Whole Wheat Bread, Bomb The Music Industry!, and many more.

In 2006, Legitimate Business was invited to submit the song "80 on 80" to be featured in the video game Tony Hawk's Project 8. The full soundtrack list can be found here. The game received IGN's award for Best Licensed Soundtrack on PlayStation 3 in 2006 and it can now be found in well over one million homes for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PSP, Playstation 2, and Xbox.

In 2007, Legitimate Business self-released their debut EP, If You Can't Take The Heat... After a CD release weekend of headlining shows featuring Rick Johnson (Mustard Plug), the CD was officially released on June 26th, 2007. The band then followed up with the fifteen-day "Feel Bad" tour in support of the new CD.

The band has completed their new full length album titled First World Problems with Mike Oettinger (Say Anything, Lifetime). It was mastered by Alan Douches (The Misfits, Dillinger Escape Plan, Set Your Goals) of West West Side Music and encompasses the band's complete catalog of music to date.

Really good!

This is a fun album. The lyrics are very clever and intelligent, and the musicianship is first-rate. It really is pop-punk with a few strident metal or classic rock licks thrown in for good measure. Recommended for anyone who likes their music hard, fast, and fun.
