Leigh Mullis ( www.myspace.com/leighmullisband ) is one of those persons that you will find yourself becoming addicted to immediately upon first encounter - musically and personally. Her writing, vocal and musician skills are phenomenal, and she has the ability to connect with audiences of all ages, genders, and demographics.

This first self-titled CD is testament to the fact that Leigh cannot be placed into any one "box". She is often called "country". She is often called "rock". This CD spans genre's and will take you from "New Country" - a la Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, etc., at the beginning, to more traditional sounding country, a la Gretchen Wilson & Patty Loveless, ramping up to hard-edged country/southern rock, a la Skynyrd & Molly Hatchet, and winding up show casing her "heavy" skills, a la Evanescence.

This CD is truly cross-genre-spanning, from soft country, to some humorous twists, to all out heavy guitar heaven.

All songs on this CD, with the exception of one cover ("Listen To The Music" - Doobie Bros - added because it's an appropriate kick-off to her live shows), were written by Leigh Mullis (lyrics/melodies) and Steve Hacker (music)...
