Great jangly-guitar pop. They've managed to channel the essense of The Smiths and Midnight Oil without being derivative or cute. Lejuene have managed to reinvent what made the 80's great without sinking into simple parody, or becoming a novelty act (ala The Killers). Great music.

Been listening for a while now...

I picked up this CD at a show in DC a while ago and have been listening to it ever since. It is a great and inspiring set of songs! I figured I'd check out if Lejeune had any new releases to offer yet. Unfortunately not yet, but I figured I'd put in my $.02 for a review. Great band, great CD, great songs... anxiously awaiting a follow up!

"In Stereo" is a must have

I was stuck on a plane flying coast to coast and working on a difficult project using my laptop. My laptop contains well over two and a half hours of music that I cherish. One song in particular continues to echo in my head... "In Stereo". This CD is a great first recording effort. I can't wait to see them live and hear their next work.

Sounds like a favorite old cd from the 80's. Moon Shy City I put on repeat and just let it play over and over. I notice something new every time. The songwriting is awesome, like thoughts you have had yourself but did not take the time to write down.
