Album Notes

A born Leader, revolutionary minded, yet humble and collected, Lejit is a unique breed. Born and raised in Decatur, GA, he has a southern sound with the heart to reach the world. He speaks of attaining true wealth as defined by healthy mind, healthy spirit, and access to resources, all while remaining young and fresh to death. Lejit's music stems from life experiences and embodies the spirit of the world we live in. Possessing a hustler's ambition, and the heart of a king, his cool demeanor keeps him focussed on staying true to his roots while creating world class hip-hop. Nicknamed "The One," Lejit feels a responsibility to remain relevant while raising the bar for innovation in the hip-hop world..

"They say life is a game, so as human's, we must play," Lejit says. "I live by that motto because we were all born into this world not knowing what it was all about. To playing the roles of the lifestyles we grew up in. What I represent are the truths of life and the aspiration for greatness. And no matter what religion, race or creed you claim, I believe there is a common thread that binds us together in this complacent chaos we call earth."

Lejit began 'flowing' in high school as he turned his poetry into raps in the cafeteria and hallways. He continued to tell the tales and feelings of the southern youth, and developed a following. A graduate of Georgia Southern University, Lejit continues to seek knowledge outside the confines of institutional education, and relay the real from the perspective of generation Y.
