Le Mans (not to be confused with the 1990’s Spanish rock band) emerged during the heyday of the early 2000’s electroclash scene that paved the way for today’s amped up nu-rave as well as now prerequisite retro electro pop production (a la Timberland). Alongside Mount Sims, Dirty Sanchez, and a handful of other like-minded bands, Le Mans (sometimes refered to as LeMans Electro) provided Los Angeles with raw eighties-influenced production showcasing talky ironic vocals and an overindulgence in synthesizers. “No Long Tale to Tell” archives previously unavailable deejay-only remixes as well as demo material from 2007.
