Album Notes

Le Mans (not to be confused with the 1990’s Spanish rock band) emerged during the heyday of the early 2000’s electroclash scene that paved the way for today’s amped up nu-rave as well as now prerequisite retro electro pop production (a la Timberland). Alongside Mount Sims, Dirty Sanchez, and a handful of other like-minded bands, Le Mans (sometimes refered to as LeMans Electro) provided Los Angeles with raw eighties-influenced production showcasing talky ironic vocals and an overindulgence in synthesizers. “No Long Tale to Tell” archives previously unavailable deejay-only remixes as well as demo material from 2007.
