In 2006, group Lemon Joy successfully came back to Lithuanian music world with new songs and album '1210'. Having released a studio album with new original songs '1210' after seven years, Lemon Joy won an award for the most successful comeback in Lithuania.
The new songs of the group 'Pirmosios Geles' (First Flowers), 'Ne Apie Mus' (Not About Us), 'Ten, Kur Mylejau' (Where I Loved) and 'Arciau' (Closer) became popular at radio stations and added to the list of earlier hits of the group.
One of the highlights of the concert activities of the group was its appearance with German romantics of electronic music Camouflage at the end of the year in Vilnius.
Lemon Joy is perhaps the least productive Lithuanian group in terms of recording of songs. The previous album of the group 'Mylet Tave Taip Beprotiska Ir Keista' (Loving You Is So Strange And Crazy) was released back in 1999. Group Lemon Joy was established in 1994. Two years later, the group released its debut album 'Glostyk' (Stroke) and won Bravo award for the best debut. Initially, Lemon Joy played guitar rock music, but gradually it moved towards electronic sound.
In 2000, Lemon Joy performed in Zalgiris stadium in Vilnius together with the legendary British group Pet Shop Boys. In 2001, Igoris Kofas was voted the best male singer of the year. The same year Lemon Joy released an album of cover songs 'REstart'. In the beginning of 2004, an album of selected songs of Lemon Joy was released under the title 'Electropop'. During the twelve years of its career, the group released five albums and one disc with selected songs.
