Album Notes

Lemonsquare began as a labor of love, inspired by my daughter Alyssa. My wife Lori and I enjoyed singing songs to Alyssa and watching her groove to them. I am now partnered with my good friend Louisette Geiss, a very talented singer and actress. We've concentrated on making kids music that wouldn't drive parents insane. This CD is the result of our efforts.

Lemonsquare, is the creative duo of Alan Schlaifer and Louisette Geiss. Alan has been a musician for the past thirty years and is currently a music editor for television and film projects. Louisette is a singer and actress who has appeared in numerous theater productions, movies, tv shows and national commercials.

Children love repetition, which is why It is so important to Alan and Louisette to create music that is musically pleasant to the ear of an adult. It is a fine line in creating this mix.

Lemonsquare, “Music For Fun”, is thick with instrumentation, quirky sound effects, and fun, positive lyrics. It’s infectious sound and lyrics will leave you wanting more.
