A Pianist Of Impeccable Taste
author: John Gilbert
This album demonstrates the incredible pianistic ability of Lenore Raphael. Hip changes and a remarkable ability to swing are the hallmarks of this CD. In both the ballad mode and bebop style she shows the influence of Bud Powell but with her own innate twist (in her solos). In a word, this album is a welcome reissue.
