Melodic and atmospheric, this is a beautiful album of pure music which pushes the guitar to new levels of creativity.
Most of the pieces are just like songs, but with instruments taking the tunes instead of a voice. Stylistically there are elements of folk, ambience, classical, electronica and even world music, but its all tied together by the superb instrumentation and stunning melodies.
In keeping all the sounds real Leo has rejected conventional recording techniques like sampling, sequencing and computer effects, instead relying more on sounds generated by guitars, cellos, trumpets and ethnic percussion.
The initial reaction has been nothing short of astonishing with such press as:
'This album is indeed very evocative and beautiful'
'Played at the right time with the right person it won't get any better than this'
'Unlike other such records, which tend to be a bit too ambient and background, the tone of Abrahams guitar playing keeps you coming back again.'
'Ultimately it's very clear that Mr Abrahams is very talented and deserves an audience for his work'
'Like a showcase for this remarkable guitarist's work, this 14 track album, although entirely original, has the air of the familiar about it. Phrases that conjure memories of past lives, like snapshots of classic movie moments'
'This is an album designed to display the art of writing music, this it achieves.'
'A stunning album that is more than capable of seducing the listener'
'Inspiring'
'Accomplished'
'Beautiful'

A widescreen palette of sound led by his soulful guitar.
author: Dana Ferrara
This cd is amazing. Mr. Abrahams creates a sonic landscape of electronics and acoustics instruments all centered around his melodic picking. There is a sense of nostalgia while sounding completely futuristic at the same time. Most of it is rather whimsical and evocative, as each song peeks and descends taking its listener into a imaginary place. This place is beautiful and I would gladly take refuge amidst Leo's melodies and haunting soundscapes.
