Leo's Got It Made...
author: The Rambling Man
Okay, I've now listened to this album enough times to be able to say I'm getting tired of it. However, since the songs on "I've Got It Made" are so good, honest, heart-felt, trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent, I don't think I'll EVER get tired of listening to them. Each song touches me in a different way. Some touch my heart. Then there are those that touch my "inner child". Others touch my "funny bone". And, then there are the ones that touch me in a place I can't talk about in mixed company. My favorite song on this album is "In Old Key West", except when I'm listening to "I Love the South", or "Six Lucky Numbers", or "Paradise for Two". And, I'm not ashamed to admit that the first twelve times I listened to Leo's cover version of that old "Blues Brothers" country AND western classic, "Stand By Your Man", it brought tears to my eyes just like I was sitting in "Bob's Country Bunker" hearing it for the very first time, totally wasted after being over-served by the bartender. While I've not yet had the pleasure of meeting Leo Dean face to face, I look forward to doing so that I might shake his hand and thank him for writing and recording these songs. Until that day, I'll just say, "Thanks, Leo" on here....

I got it made

Love the CD. I had heard one of the songs...Old Key West...and I so was ready to be there. So I ordered the CD to take me there on days I just need to run away. We'll be there in November, for the same daughter's wedding, so the album is just to get us all in the mood.

Takes me to the Keys
author: Ed Wagner
The Keys are a "lifestyle that I can't afford" on a permanent basis. Leo Dean is helping me live that lifestyle through music no matter where I am. Palm Trees Galore, Tropical Depression & Song About The Keys set the mood while Paradise For Two sounds like it was written for my wife and me. No Name Key, wait I'm eating pizza at the No Name Pub right now.
Thanks Leo, you are a BRAND NEW HOMEMADE NASHVILLE COUNTRY HILLBILLY TROPICAL STAR. Give us more!

A CD with a lot of heart.
author: Gary Hueston
A CD with a lot of heart. Leo Dean might not be the best singer in the world, but like the man he would like to run the world, you can tell he is making music for the love of it. If you wish Buffet would make CDs like he did in the 70's,check out I Got It Made. No rap, hip-hop, or corporate bull, just songs that make you think your some place other than a traffic jam, bad job, or some other stupid place.
