Leonard Williams musical career dates back to the early 60's. Smithdale, Mississippi was once home to Leonard spending more than 20 years with his brother's (The Williams Brothers) before branching out in the late eighties with his very own production company Melendo Music. Leonard later expanded his production company to include a recording studio and record label and was quickly in the news with his release of the classic , "Death and The Beautiful Lady (MEL-2259) by Slim & The Supreme Angels. His roster of hits include:
"Not Gonna Shut Up" (MEL-2288) which includes the hit single "It Could Have Been Me" by The Original 5 Blind Boys Of Mississippi-"Live In Jackson, Miss" (MEL-2274) by Slim & The Supreme Angels and "Anniversary" ( MEL-2284) by the Jackson Southernaires and other great recordings on the Melendo Records Label.
