Guitarist Eric Leone doesn’t believe in settling or taking the easy road. He makes this very clear with his musical objective: to have his music touch the hearts and souls of people all over the world. His second release, CRUISIN, continues to lead him closer to this goal. A graduate of the Hartford Conservatory School of Music, where he studied jazz guitar (he is also an accomplished pianist, drummer, bassist and saxophone player), Mr. Leone delivers the goods. CRUISIN is joyful, invigorating, sensual; a CD you’ll want to listen to over and over. Leading with the title track, “Cruisin” has just the right vigor and swagger to get the musical juices flowing. “Nice & Easy” is supple and graceful while “Knock Me Off My Feet” is sexy and romantic, and both are album standouts. Watch out world, Eric Leone is cruisin' your way and he’s here to stay.
