This is the 10th recording by Leon Laudenbach which is an accumulation of 30 years slugging it out in the bars, legions and chicken coops of Minnesota. Leon has said that writing tunes is a very natural thing for him, and his output is anything short of extraordinary. You will find that he may need a heavy dose of mood enhancing powders or a little time on the couch. Songs like Short Leash to Lucifer or Bad Got Mad might prove my point here. There is also a story of John Larue, a farm hand that got stuck in on a tree in 1862, and wasn’t found for another 50 years. Very solid effort, with great musicians rounding out this disc.

Terrific blues artist. I could listen to this album every day - and nearly have since I bought it.
