Album Notes

UNWANTED MEMORIES is a quirky collection of songs written and produced by Leon Stevenson of Toronto 80s group and cult favorites The Extras. Bluesy in a 60s mod-soul kind of way Leon has enlisted guitarists Michael St. Clair (Jacksoul), Pat Rush and Kyle Peters on various tracks. Bassist Rodney St. Amand is solid throughout and Martin Aucoin adds authentic flavour on Wurlitzer piano and Vox organ. Steve Donald (trombone), Isax Injah (saxophone), and ex-Extras drummer Paul Armstrong add to the mix.
