Album Notes

American Farmer: A song I wrote after seeing an old farmer on a courthouse bench. I thought about all the changes he had seen. I decided to make the song a tribute to the American Farmer.

Valley Hobo: This song is about just being young and the true-life experiences growing up in Paint Rock Valley.

Freedom: A young man chooses to join the military to get away from home. He then makes the military a career and fights for the freedom he was seeking.

Gone to Heaven: A gospel tune dedicated to loved ones already passed.

From the Backwoods: Real-life experience in my teenage years. Cars, girls, and just hanging out.

Little Girls: This song is about my two daughters who are the joy and pride of my life.

Keep On Rollin: Brokenhearted guy chases his wife across the country.

Ole Moonshiner: My Grandfather used to tell stories about making moonshine. I'm not sure he ever participated.

Same Old Feelin: To someone I truly love for whom my feelings never change.

Wild Bull Rider: Bull riders are a breed of their own. This song is dedicated to all of my bull-riding friends.

Make Me A Star: A sarcastic look at some people who thing they're a little more famous than what they really are.
