BIO:
Leon Venerable is a native of North Alabama, the Woodville and Paint Rock Valley area. From an early age of 4 he started playing the guitar and singing in church. At age 15, he participated in the FFA string band contest and not long after, he started writing his own songs. He has played and sang at many benefits throughout North Alabama , at communities founders days and many bluegrass festivals. Leon has opened for some of music's finest including: Marty Rabbon, (Shenandoah)Donna Stoneman (The Stoneman's), Dave Gibson (Gibson Miller Band), hit song writers Jim Parker, Jerry Vandiver, Victoria Banks and Alan Rhoddy.He has cowritten with Hit songwriters Razzy Baily Mark Trail and Teresa Boaz. He spends most of his time on the singer/songwriter trail in Nashville , TN and frequents the Bluebird Café, the Commodore Lounge Douglas Corner and Rudys Cafe.
