Drummer of the live stuff.
author: Peter G.
It has been a while. I was just (surfing) around and thought I'd look up Les. I noticed that he put out the Splash cd with the 4 xtra live tracks. I forgot all about that show. After not being able to contact Les I bought the cd to hear what we did and had to say there were some parts that really kick ass. and that was only 4 songs of a whole show. I would have loved too have been watching that show from the fan seats. It was a good show.
Pro Tools is a great tool, But Real Drummers are the the kat's me ow......
Sincerely,
Peter G. live Drummer for Get Wet.......

"Amazing playing. Great idea and execution on the "classics" medleys. He may not be aware but I heard a few references to my 60's recordings in there". - Davie Allan & The Arrows.

"Essential listening for ‘60s surf-rock enthusiasts!"
author: Robert Silverstein-20th Century Guitar Magazine
"Les Fradkin and his instrumental surf-rock band, Get Wet, are once again making waves in the music world. Rounded out with live bonus tracks featuring Les and surf legend Eddie Bertrand, 2004 reissues of the first Get Wet album, Splash!—as well as a simultaneous 2004 reissue of the second Get Wet album, A Day At The Beach—are essential listening for ‘60s surf-rock enthusiasts. Now, in 2004,Fradkin is bringing his ‘90s surf revival vision up to date and is ready, willing and able to kick it into overdrive. The very first Get Wet CD release in ‘99, Splash! was recorded in the studio in Redondo Beach, California and that spirit of freewheeling instro guitar sounds comes across loud and clear on the 2004 reissue which features Fradkin performing on a smorgasbord of Fender and Mosrite classic guitars. That classic vintage surf sound is fully realized on Splash! with reverent Get Wet covers of classics like “Apache” and “Bombora” as well as the symphonic surf sound of the original “Surfin The Classics” (Pt. 1 ). Decked out in style with near 3-D underwater cover art and four live bonus tracks Les recorded with a Get Wet live band including Eddie and the Showmen guitarist Eddie Bertrand, this 2004 reissue of Splash! reveals yet another layer of Fradkin’s multi-faceted musical vision." - Robert Silverstein
