Album Notes

After experimenting with the music scene in New York and Nashville for a few years, Leslie moved to Seattle to find the inspiration to jump start a solo career. She released her first full length solo CD, Blackthorn Winter, in the summer of 2007.

Her voice has an ethereal quality that conveys the emotion of her thought-provoking lyrics. Accompanied by either her piano or acoustic guitar, she can deliver a performance that leaves chill bumps on your arms.

Leslie is heading out to support Blackthorn Winter, playing in local Seattle venues in September.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see her live before she gets HUGE! Her fans know. Now you know.

Okay, so sometimes unique is not always good, but this chick's voice is a mix of... Steve Nicks? Tori Amos? Fiona Apple?... I like that shakiness. It's raw and real. And, yo! Just when I thought I was a songwriter, I heard these deep-a$$ poetry-lyrics. I have to say, I'm not a big fan of chick singers, but this is much different than the norm - I like that. AND... "Maybe the Moon" is a VERY cool song.
