Album Notes

Lee Lessack is a cabaret act who records himself and others on his own label.

The follow-up to his critically-acclaimed, self-titled solo recording, I Know You By Heart, features musical arrangements and orchestrations by Hearts of Space recording artist, John Boswell, and material by an eclectic mix of some of the most talented songwriters.

There is a touching purity to his voice, which is given ample opportunity to stress its persuasiveness on such material as the title song, "Dreamers," and "The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress" - songs that are introspective but generally unpretentious.

Particularly effective is a medley of "Right As The Rain" and "Soon It's Gonna Rain." The background tracks have a lovely, chamber-music delicacy.

This is cabaret romanticism of a high order.

this cd is pure magic. the songs are great and the singer is incredible. i have written over five hundred songs over the last twenty-three years and i would be honored to have lee record any one of them. he would bring any of them to an incredible new level. here is a talent to be reckoned with.
